Situated on the back of the Tee-Shirt is a beautifully infatuating & mesmerising artwork, designed by our flautist, Emily Grace. Inspired by a myth, "The Legend of Rabona" represents the various journeys our lives entail, written in sounds. Emily has drawn on ideas combining our visual elements between the aural embodiment & the visual imprint of a myth specific to rambutans (the fruit).
Whilst that may be on the back, the front of the Tee-Shirt is imprinted with Gita Zimmerman's shorthand logo design.
Shirts are available from Small to XXXL and are available in White, Black (red print) & Brown (orange print).

"Myths tell us tales of brave people & wise moments, whilst music guides us through our own narrative"
Music & mateship, multiple faces with multi-faceted lives, SOTR is not a face, but a sound.
SAN OF THE RAMBUTAN: purely created from a mistake, formed spontaneously as a cinematic jazz fusion band over the years. They have constantly refined jams into songs and songs into tracks. SOTR’s sonic escape is a combination of influences with the key elements of all players coming from very different worlds of music, being, 90’s hip-hop, various electronic styles, rock & metal, high school classical and improvisational jazz . This amalgamation of styles, conversation & friendship has resulted in the creation of their debut EP, ‘The Legend of Rabona’. Interwining past & present, the EP is an aural embodiment of myth connecting the experience of mind, body, spirit & the space between. Described as having a ‘70’s sensibility’ with a sprinkling of sedatives; a contemporary musical journey.
Inspired by influences such as the Goat Herbie Hancock, BBNG & Kamaal Williams, 'The Legend of Rabona' takes on genres such as Jazz-fusion, Funk, Hip-hop, Electronic, Soul & RnB
A snapshot of neutrality, duality, betrayal & sacrifice, this EP characterises life and all of its beauty, pleasure, and pain. All tracks are continuous & linear, leading you in one direction, only to resolve somewhere else.
Inspired by a myth from the past, "The Legend of Rabona" represents the various journeys our lives entail, written in the sounds.

"Automatic" couldn't be a better sequel if you tried - it delivers on what made "Phase" great, but also expands on that psych-funk-jazz fusion to give a couple new hints of flavour.
The title track has a great synth beat with those vocoded vocals, 'Downstream' is perfect for a poolside lounge, but 'Memory Palace' is hands down my favourite here - that 90s house-style piano man, it's so upbeat, righteous and makes for a perfect rhythm for the lads to jam over.
Flawless album, cover to cover. Xtra Happy
